I remember my dad pulling the torque lever off - his theory was that us kids couldn't ruin it if we couldn't use it. Our 1206 was turned up to about 150 hp, pulled the same equipment our 1466 & 1486 pulled. Only problem is the transmission will not stand up to that kind of use over a long period of time. Its been over 20 years since I've run one and those tractors are now aproaching 40 years of use. I'd look it over very carefully. The price is somewhat in line for what you described.
