Newbie ?'s about Farmall 504

Hello gents, I recently inherited a 504 and I attempted to do a search, but search is down. It is in great shape, has some minor performance probs but after looking around here, I can probably get by. I cannot however find the production years for the 504 and there doesn't seem to be alot of info on them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
