450 LP can I run it on gasoline ??

I have a 450 LP tractor, and have heard alot about people wanting the LP heads for more power in the gas burners. I was wondering if it would be ok, to just run gas in my LP as is ? I will need a gas tank, carb, and some sheetmetal, but will it be a wise move ??? This is one of my tractors I may sell or trade later, right now I am just having fun with it, and learning about farmalls. Thanks for any info
