Radiator removal on M

I removed the radiator on my M to get it repaired at the local radiator shop today. The radiator was only held in by two studs going through the main frame of the tractor and had no nuts on them and was not threaded. Is this how they all are or do I need something else? There was no upper radiator support like my 41 H has. Could someone tell me what should be on a 1948 M to hold the radiator in place. I think I am missing something. suspect the vibration of being loose is what cuased the leaks I have. Thanks in advance. BB
