What's a good paint job worth?

I would like anyones opinon on whether or not I paid to much for my paint job on my '53 Farmall Super M. I had my buddy recently paint my Farmall and he charged me $650. He did very minimal body work and only shot the primer and top coat of paint. I did everything else from sanding the sheetmetal and getting everything else ready to paint. I had my buddy paint it who is not a professional, but does paint a few tractors on the side. He did a fairy good job except for a few runs in the front nose. Was $650 too much? Any input would be great. Thanks!
