A trick that I use is to wrap each sleeve in a couple of layers of newspaper (individually) & put them in the deep freeze overnight. (The cold will shrink them slightly.) You take them out one at a time just before you want to put them in. Don't unwrap until you get to the shop. Usually they slide right down the hole. If you have to tap them, be REAL CAREFULL, cold steel is really brittle & don't even ask how I found this out. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)
