Starter for a cub

I know nothing about Farmall Cub tractors, but I am a fairly decent mechanic. Is the starter for a Cub the same regardless of the year, or do I need to find out what year it is? If I need to know the year where on the beast do I look for some type of tag?? I have just kinda browsed this one, it isn't mine but I get to fix it for a neighbors friend. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
