Hi, when you say at open throttle it misses, do you mean it appears to miss on 1 of the 3 cylinders or does it lose power and rpm decreases? If it loses power and rpms decrease then the problem I would suspect is a fuel flow problem from the fuel tank. With engine off and using a suitable containing to catch the diesel fuel, take off the fuel line from the fuel tank at the top side of the fuel filter assembly. The fuel should flow the full of the fuel line. If there is restricted flow then the problem is usually at outlet of the fuel tank. The other things is to check the injector lines for leaks, and the shutoff lever adjustment on the injector pump. There are 2 adjustment stops on the injector pump, when the ON/OFF lever is in the OFF position the lever on the injector pump should be against one stop and then when it is the RUN position it should be against the front stop. If it is not against the front stop the engine will not be getting enough fuel. These German build 179D engines are usually very reliable. Lets us know what the fix is. Good luck JB

Flax provided the fibre which w
