Jamie - An occasional light pop out the exhaust at idle is normal. You can try enriching the idle mixture a bit (turn the idle mix screw IN) and see if this helps. Wouldn't hurt also to check the timing - also that the centrifugal spark advance is working (advances the timing as the engine speeds up...)

But if the engine runs good otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.
