Tractors and chicken houses don't mix

I had noticed recently that the several old tractors and trucks that are parked in the field behind my brother's chicken houses seem to have deteriorated more than normal for even our Southeastern weather; rusting fast, chrome plating peeling off, etc. I realized that the dust from the chicken houses settles on the vehicles, then the great Georgia rains leach acid from the dust which accelerates the destruction of sheet metal. At least the 350 is still in good shape and it will, hopefully, soon be shedded at my house, awaiting restoration.
