The guys who say you could get the Super M-TA without a TA are absolutly right. The first time someone told me this, I didn't belive it either, but then I checked the Parts Manual. The real difference between a Super M and a SMTA is that the SMTA had the clutch and transmission redisgned to provide live PTO and hydraulics. So yes, even though some didn't have a TA, they still were called Super M-TA, and had Super M-TA decals, to signify the major transmission differences.
