hey allan, did you get the 70? my 86 has the 312 engine which is supposed to be "bullet proof" but the tractor only has 3900 total hours on it and has a reman motor in it????????????? somebody must have done something bad wrong to it when it was nearly new. the number 1200 is scratched into the paint by the tachometer. it is anybodys guess how long they will last but realy 10,000 hours without an overhaul is not uncommon in most of the older IH engines. I hope the german 310 is as good.
