I have an IH 364 diesel that I want to change the transmission fluid and rear diff fluid. As far as I know, these are both sharing the same reservoir - is that correct? If so, what capacity is it, and what type fluid does it require (80-90 gear oil, tractor hydraulic oil)? They hydraulic system is seperate on this tractor I know for sure. It is in a reservoir directly under the seat. The transmission has a fill plug right up top by the gearshifters but no dipstick. I also found a plug on the left side of the transmission that I assume is the "level plug" - is this correct? How do I drain the trans/rear diff thoroughly? Is there various drain plugs I need to pull underneath to let the system drain entirely? I don't have a manual to this little 364 (yet) and I thought some of you fellows have access to this information. Thanks for any help.
