Hi Ya'll, The other day GT posted his request for prayers on his surgery that occured on this past Monday. I spoke to Mrs GT and she asked me to bring ya'll up on his recovery, so here goes... GT, had brain surgery to remove a tumor. It was benign. But a very aggressive, invassive one. The surgery was scheduled to be 8 to 8.5 hrs., it took over 12 hrs to complete. Due to the position of this tumor the doctors could only get 90% of it. GT came through the surgery very well, is recouperating and gettin stronger. The Dr.s now have to figure out what course of action to take on the remaining 10%. OBTW Chemo & radiation that workes well on cancerous tumors doesn't work for a benign tumor like GTs. So gentlemen, Your prayers are needed, that the Dr.s can complete this task and get GT tumor free. Also strengthen Mrs GT during this time while her other half is laid up with this surgery. Thought ya'll should know, John A. This was a reoccurance of a tumor he had 11.5 yrs ago.
