Viscosity Oil was sold by Pennzoil in 2000 to FL Selenia. FL is owned by Vestar Capital Partners, which acquired the company in October, 2003. FL had previously been acquired by Doughty-Hanson in April, 2000. FL was formerly Fiat Lubrificante, the lubricants division of Fiat. In 1985 Tenneco bought Viscosity Oil. What happened beteewn Tenneco ownership and Pennzoil owenership I don't know.
