Farmall M oil pump

I have disassembled and cleaned the oil pump and am wondering what to do about the gasket both that seperates the oil pump and the oil pan gasket. Can these be bought or do I make them out of gasket material? Also, how do you prime the oil pump to ensure it works upon start up?
