Get Pulley off Generator on H and BN

One of my neighbors graciously gave me a working generator off his H (converted to 12V) to use on my BN. The generator and regulator is the same, except the pulleys are different. I need to remove the nuts, and swap the pulleys.....I don't want to mar these up, so does nayone have a technigue to hold the pulley, and or pull the pulley....
