Several small changes. main changes SM and some
400 used type A injection pump and orifice type
injector nozzle. Later 400 and 450 used type B
pump. Late 400 and 450 used open type nozzle.
SM used a friction disc in throttle,400 450 didn't.SM choke rod hooks on inside of carb,cable on outside 400 450.Other things,head #s, water jacket cover plates,fuel filters,idler gear,rear
main seal,exhaust pipe longer 400 450.Most parts
can be added to all engines.
