Ask your local people like the place you get your seed they are up to the task as what works best in you area. How did your soil test come out do you need lime,fertilizer and what goes best there. OATS hay is good feed if cut at the right time. The grass probably wont make a crop this year unless you direct seed without cover crop. Ask your local people they know your deal the best and can advise you better.
