Useful for anything?

I'm trying to install (need instructions) a Woods manual lift on my '46 A. Anyway, I removed an add on hydraulic lift. It's a motor/pump unit bolted on left side of seat area, runs off the 6 volt battery. Hydraulic hose runs to cylinder mounted belly area. Anybody know what this is? Should I junk it, or would it be useful for something?
