Stephen: If you read the manual that pining under platform is only intended for when lower section of hitch is removed for one row cultivating of high crops. It solely designed for pining the bail out way of high crops. The front bar to right rockshaft must be used with all implements. I have a device fabricated bolts to the two 5/8 holes on flat spot just ahead of clutch pedal on torque tube. With that I can pin my hitches at average operating height. I know none of my three tractors would lift mounted implements, (I have 14 different implements ) clear of ground if hitch was pined to platform.
