I am still trying to figure out what year the M is that I got from my grandfather. I was told to look for a casting date on the engine and I have 11 6 E on the distributer side almost straight above the distributer. The leter E is 1959 would this mean it is either a replacement engine or an enigine out of a 400 or 450? I do not have a serial tag and the casting codes have been ground on the platform when someone welded a batery box on there. Is there any other places I can look? There are lots of codes all over the tractor just have no way to desifer them
