Now let me get this straight. You pulled your stock 50hp 460 in the 10,000 pound class, made a full pull and was still going? A 460 only has a shipping weight of 5500 pounds. Are you saying that you packed 4500 pounds on it? There are a lot of antique tractors with a whole lot more HP than a 460 that pull in the 10K class. 50HP tractors do not do well in a 10K class. If your tractor is pumped up then admit it.

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
