Hey Adam, Congradulations on finding an SMDTA, (or SMTAD). It is indeed relativly rare and certainly very collectable. Beyond all that fu-faw, it's a great working machine. The value thing is regional and very subjective, espically with the diesels because engine overhaul costs are so high. Here in New England it would be a King's ransome. Elsewhere, only a Duke's. So from $1,800-5,000 is ballpark, with $8,000-10,000 not impossiable. With all SMTA's currently appreciating rapidly, it's a good investment. But more importantly, it's just a great, historic, machine and you are gona have so much fun with it no matter what. Good luck! Jared
