Invest 5 more minutes in the Cub. Use a 3/8" box end wrench, remove the brass hex "plug" in the side of the carburetor. That is the high speed jet. With a smooth wire and compressed air clean the holes in the jet, especially the small one centered in the threaded end- that is the critical metering hole. Do not enlarge the hole in any way. Check to see if good flow of fuel out of the jet hole in the carburetor. If good fuel flow, reinstall the jet and let us know the results.
