I too have had the same problems, Battery box for my (A) was far from a bolt on, All holes were off so far that they had to be drilled out 3/8 of in inch bigger. P.t.o shield did not fit either, those holes had to be drilled out nearly a half inch bigger ! just leaving enough metal left to hold it on. Hood for the (a) has a bulge in it at the gas tank, it sticks out about 1/8 of in inch more than it should, It looks like the sheet metal they cut was to big. All of the above parts came from O.E.M. I guess I would still rather run a drill, then get rusted up used parts and glob bondo on/ and run a piece of sand paper for hours on end.
