I had exactly the same problem with my Super H. both inside holes had to be enlarged, along with one of the legs. Then, I put it on without looking at where the ground cable went (old box was a cobbled up mess), had to take it off and make the opening bigger, as you did. My box came from OEM Tractor Parts -- they say they make the boxes themselves from original IH blueprints. IF so their quality control is not very high. HOWEVER, I am very glad to be able to get brand new parts, even if they do require modification. I'm sure this won't be the last time. I'm not going to get down on "corporate America" as much as Hugh does, as OEM has big bucks in their manufacturing process, they just need to improve their quality control -- their business is expanding, perhaps they will get their act together.
