Adding live hydrulics to older M

Instead of trying to find an original pump that fits on the mag drive, was thinking of adding small, belt driven hyd pump. It would hang on carb side of engine and would reguire additional pully attached to crak pully somehow. I have noticed a few of these installed on tractors I've seen at auctions. Has anyone tried this? Was looking for pointers such as how to mount extra pullies on end of crank and if a hyd motor would work as well as a hyd pump?
