IH made various size rims. The most common were 11, 12, and 13-38. My guess would be that most had either 11 or 12 inch rims. The old/new tire sizes are 11/12.4, 12/13.6, and 13/14.9. If anyone mentions 15.5, there was no 15.5 equivalent when your M was made. 14-38 is equivalent to 16.9, I don't believe any M's had 14 inch tires from the factory, I could be wrong. A 12/13.6 tire looks ok on either a 11 or 12 inch rim; likewise a 13/14.9 tire is fine on a 12 or 13 inch rim. Miller tire company has the original styled tires, front and rear, if you want to go that route.
