Dave , take the no 2 plug out , leave the wire hooked to it & clamp it with a vise grip to a good ground (bolt on top of oil filter works good)...start the M & see if the plug is fireing - no fire means the problem is electrical , one of the things already mentioned (cap ,rotor - etc)i doubt wires got switched -then you'd be missing on 2 cyl'drs......if the plug sparks , then it's a bad valve (although then i'd think compression would be less on that cyl.?)- one other remote possability is a bad manifold gasket or maybe carb gasket (not getting gas to no 2) .......good luck !
