Sure sounds like a carb problem to me. Sound like you are not getting enough gas to the carburetor. Take a can to catch the gas when you take the fuel line off the carb and see how much flow you have from your tank. (Do this OUTSIDE and NO smoking!)If I remember right, there is a screen on the carb where the gas line attaches to it also. Check it. By the way, the point gap is 20 thousands inch. Good Luck!
