Yep he is correct. The Hydro was a transmission option until the Hydro 100 and Hydro 86 came out making it a specific model. Buy with your eyes wide open. Hydro's are great tractors for specific tasks but terrable for tillage or heavy drawbar work. You loose 20-30% of the tractors HP through the transmission. Harvesting, planting, loader work or anything that needs a lot of different ground speeds and a constant PTO speed, this will be the best tractor you ever used. If you want to use this for tillage work you'll be disappointed. A Hydro 966 will have the same drawbar HP a a gear 666.
