I made one for my MD using a bicycle kids jump seat from Wal mart, a piece of two inch rigid conduit, some heavy 6 inch angle iron, u bolts and other miscellaneous bolts. It's only good for kids up to 40 lbs. The bicycle seat had a harness in it. Angle iron is bolted to the axle holes. Conduit to the angle with u bolts. Another piece of angle at the top of conduit with U bolts. Seat is bolted to the top piece of angle. The conduit extends up so the kid has to straddle it and provides a something to hold on to. Could put a steering wheel on the top of conduit, but I just covered the end with a PVC pipe cap. Next time I have the tractor out, I'll take a picture and post it.
