The big SNAP I heard wasnt just the impulse after all, it was the camshaft gear breaking the oil pump gear and the end of the shaft clean off!(zero oil pressure was my first clue) Now, does anybody know if these shafts are available anywhere, or am I going to have to cannibalize my 10/20? On the bright side, this is the first time the oil pan has been off in at least 50 yrs, maybe more, and besides a little gunk on the pick up screen, the insides are as clean as the day it left the factory!
