I am with BlueLite, it is a simple but rugged transmission. I pulled the top off of a 434D that we owned back in the 70's and it was not a difficult job. I believe I had to disconnect hydraulic lines and remove some bolts and it lifted straigt up and off. Ours would jump out of 2nd gear going down a hill with a heavy load behind it. The problem was worn indents in shifter rail. Good luck JB
