My operators manual says a reading of 1/2 scale is normal on the original gauge. In the Value Wilt catalog is says a gauge like the original is 0-45 psi. So...I think ....1/2 of 45 equals 22.5 pounds which seems a little low but who am I to think.May be that would be a correct pressure off the side of the oil filter canister. I bought a regular type gauge that reads 0 to 30 PSI thinking that it would read somewhere in the mid portion of the scale. I was taught many years ago in electronics school to pick gauges-meters for a center scale reading. When I started the engine it pegged the gauge and stayed there even after the engine and oil was warmed up. So my question is what is the normal oil pressure in PSI suppose to be for a Farmall C so that I can select a gauge for a mid scale reading? I don't want a gauge that I have to get down off the seat to see if the gauge has moved off of zero. Thanks ! Gary
