I have two Super M-TA Diesel's and one Super MD with power steering and they have the original throttle control lever. Just some thing you will have to have to put it back is the friction brake and the throttle rod off a Super M-TA Diesel because the M-TA are longer than a MD. The reason most have been changed is, most don't like the left handed throttle, or up speed up the engine is a little hard to get used to. The friction brake is another reason they got changed. The brake needs to be adjusted to hold the engine speed and if the brake disc get glaze it's hard to get adjusted with out making the throttle hard to push up the throttle to speed up the engine.
