Some months back, I posted a question regarding painting my 1951 M, and being a little different at the same time. Nothing against a red tractor, but Guy Fay's book said that International would paint a tractor just about any color the buyer wanted. I was planning on going with an industrial yellow color. When I mentioned that, someone suggested I make the tractor an industrial version of the M, as opposed to the I-6. (I wasn't aware there was such a beast!) Guy Fay's book also implies that International would put whatever decals and badges the customer or the dealer wanted. This industrial idea really stuck with me, but I am unsure how to proceed. So, here are the questions... * Did the industrial version of the M have the "International" decals on the side, as opposed to the "McCormick Farmall" decals? * Did it have the "International" plate on the grill, as opposed to the "Farmall" plate? * Were there any other differences I should know about? * What is your opinion on the project idea, overall? * I assume the I-4, I-6 and I-9 folk have this same last question. Where can I get "International" decals and grill plates? I can find "Farmall" everywhere, but "International" seems to be much more rare.

Flax provided the fibre which w
