IH 1086 question

Our farm's 1086 seems to wobble when being driven. This is especially evident when in road gear. My initial guess is that it has a bent axle. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be something else? If it is the axle, how hard is this to replace? I hate to even ask for a ballpark estimate on cost. Thanks for your help,
