Clanger, I know this is comparing apples and oranges But, This summer I rebuilt the motor in my truck. With about 300 miles on the new motor I drove it round trip about 160 miles to go deer hunting. Checked the oil and about died when I found it a quart low.A buddy of mine reminded me that I had used cromoly rings and that they take a long time to seat. It kept useing oil till I had about 3000 miles on it. Can't tell it uses a drop now. Relax. I'm sure it will be fine.
