Clean organic clutch disc in parts cleaning solvent or can use acetone type paint thinner(be careful of sparks or flame). IF you have access to oil absorbant floor dry, put disc in it and let sit for at least 8-10 hours, if not let air dry for a day.. Then install, I know the books say not to but!, why not try to reuse.. As for heating the fly-wheel ring, that expands it so it will almost slip on over the flywheel, and when cool will stay in place.. Heat it evenly or you may risk removing some of the temper from the steel.. Have done both of these operations many times.. goog luck..
