It depends. Where did you find the serial number? If it was on a plate attached to the seat box, then yes, it is a 1954 Super C. If the plate is attached to the flywheel housing it could be an H or an M. The Super C's typically had one of three carburetors, either Zenith, Carter or Marvel-Schebler. The Super C is a fine tractor. I have a 52 model. You should see if your friend will sell it to you.
