When we have colour we tend to copy or scan in colour. Most of the manuals however, except for the cover pages are almost uniformly black and white. If you open some of the files in Microsoft Photo Editor or Corel Photo House, then the zoom feature will allow much more access to the details. That should help a lot. Glad they are of use to you.
