Hi, my brother has 454, 495 and 684. The 454 has well over 15,000 Hrs. The 684 has about 7,000 hrs and the 495 has about 2,000 hrs. All are very good tractors. Have put two clutches in 454, two lip seals on injector pump shaft. 495 has had one clutch replaced and some front end problems because my brother didn't take my advice and put a 2250 Quick attach loader on it. This tractor starts good in the winter without being plugged in. The 684 has had one clutch. They all have had the Lucas generator/alternator replaced by a Delco alternator. 495 is used mainly as a loader tractor and runs every day to feed round bales or silage. Used to round bale in the summer and forage blower in the fall. 454 is used to haul wagons, manure, haybine, rake, snow blower, disk with 7ft JD disks. 684 is used for 3x16 IH plow, 10ft IH disks, IH 430 baler with thrower, manure spreader, IH combine, JD and NH forage harvesters. All other parts have been routine maintance, filters, oil, batteries and tires. He has had excellent service from these tractors. JB

Id probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this green planet. Im par
