I have installed a mitsubish alternator on my 1948 "M". It was benched checked OK after I had removed it from a wrecked car. It has the Mitsubishi symbol but no placard containing model numbers. Can I use Farmers Bobs diagram #5 when wiring this tractor. I would have to go to the starter switch that is installed on the "M". Currently, the tractor is running on a 12 volt battery using a ballast resister and a distributor and I am trying to add a good working charging system.
