Pat, as i remember there aresome lugs that are soldered in with wires to them. sometimes the solder get hot enough to melt. the conection might look good but in fact arent. i had this problem with my H for several years. i had it to 4 or five starter places and they said it was good. it would bench spin fine but when it was put under a load, it was a different story.
while you have it apart, check those lugs that have a wire going to them. they might not be soldered in there correctly.
