How many volts is your tractor running with? If it is 6 volt then you need the biggest battery cables that you can lay your hands on (at least 1 gauge or thicker). If they are smaller than that an otherwise excellent 6 volt will turn over like it has flat battery even if the cables are in otherwise great shape. If it's 12 volts then this probably isn't your problem. Hope this helps. SAm in NS
