I wouldn't want to be standing next to an old M when somebody tried to crank it up to 3600 rpm unless it has been balanced. The only thing on the motor that would turn at 3600 rpm is the front crank pulley. The pto goes through about a 3:1 reduction. The front pulley would only give you 3600 rpm if both pulleys are the same size. Not to be a wiseguy but I don't think you have had your morning cup of coffee yet.
