I have a 2400A loader tractor. According to the Case IH dealer the engine and major components are the same as the 454. However the front end and hydraulics on the 2400A are much different. They are heavy duty and cast iron on the front end to withstand the loader pressure.

Sorry, I can't help on the hydraulic questions.
