Have you actually seen this tractor? In an A gear box it would be quite hard to make 4 speeds 3, to start with. I suppose you could render one gear usless, but can't understand why anyone would do that. If someone has found a hi-low that will fit in an A torgue tube I would like to know more. There was a hi-low made to fit the torque tube of a 404 Farmall or utility. Just maybe that torque tube will bolt up to an A. Let us know what you find out, this is interesting. There has been a lot of guys over the years wished an A, SA, 100, 130 or 140 had a lower gear.
